This gorgeous necklace is made from tagua beads ethically sourced from Ecuador. We love this combination of four zesty beads
Good Things:
Lydia sources tagua beads from Ecuador, supporting artisans she knows from her time living and working there. The artisans pick and dry the seeds, before sanding, dyeing and shaping them. Lydia then designs and assembles these necklaces by hand in the UK
Plastic free and made from naturally occurring tagua seeds - also known as vegetable ivory
Tagua is a biodegradable and sustainable material. The tagua seeds arecollectedonce they've ripened and fallen from the tree, causing no harm to the tree itself. This activity encourages people to value and protect these important natural habitats

Presented in a unique upcycled sari gift bag measuring approximately 20cm x 12.5cm
Please note: tagua beads are naturally occurring and the shape and colour of each bead varies slightly. We think this is part of the appeal as every necklace is unique!
