Native English wildflower seeds that change the lives of people with mental health problems through therapeutic gardening

Good Things:

  • Made by and supporting the work of Seed of Hope: a social enterprise that helps people with mental health problems to change their lives through recovery-based therapeutic gardening
  • Participants design, produce, and market Seed of Hope products which help fund their groups and activities
  • Each packet contains wildflower species that support 1500 species of pollinating insect across the UK
  • Plastic-free and packed in a recyclable kraft paper packet

This packet of native English wildflower seeds contains species indigenous to the UK, and crucial for pollinators. Every packet supports Seed of Hope's activities growing mental health recovery through therapeutic gardening.

  • Sow in spring and autumn when moisture and warmth are in good supply. If overseeding into grass, it is best to sow during autumn when grass growth has slowed down.
  • Regularly mix the seed when sowing, as seeds will naturally separate due to variations in size and weight.
  • Once sown, ensure good ‘seed to soil’ contact by lightly raking to a depth of 0.5cm or rolling the area.
